Hayden’s grandfather, Louis Henderson was a well-known country music singer/songwriter who wrote numerous songs for George Jones, and played honky tonks with Jones as well as B.J. Thomas. Louis died at an early age, therefore Wes only knew him through his music. You might say that Wes has music in his blood.
Hayden’s influences include Merle Haggard, George Jones, Keith Whitely, George Strait, and Alan Jackson.
