These artists where known as the Cowboys in the White hats. This music spoke of good hearted cowpokes living on the open range and singing songs of a better time when life was simpler. All a Cowboy needed was his horse, saddle and the wind on his back. Life moved slower then and this was reflected in the songs of that moment in time.
